Great selection of words.

I love the app! My suggestion for the future is for the app to give a % indicating how many words were correct on the first attempt.

Magoosh is really helping me get a head start on vocab studying for the GRE. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good app to practice and expand their vocabulary.

Great app for studying for the GRE. Simple to use and fun. Memorizing vocab can be mundane, but the app makes it fun for me. Helps build vocab in increasing difficulty of words. A suggestion for the developers, perhaps it may benefit memorization more if there were root word origin definitions where applicable. Especially for words with Latin origins. This I think helps with pattern recognition and memorization.

If youre considering graduate school and are worried about the vocab portion of the GRE, then you and I are in the same boat! This app makes learning new vocab words competitive and manageable. I dont plan to take the GRE for a little while, so Im hoping being consistent with this app will help me to achieve high scores!

This is a great app. and a good quick break to my day. I like that the words are familiar and I look forward to getting the answer right or learning the definition. I was using a different vocal app. and was learning the words quickly (by design), however, they really were not words that I would use in my daily life. Thanks for a great tool.

Magoosh provides an efficient and useful vocabulary preparation with this app! Ive been using it to prep for the GRE whenever I find myself away from my textbook and practice exams. I feel increasingly more confident about the strength of my vocabulary repertoire with each passing session. Its also free! What else could you ask for?

Great App!

I got this app to help me review and practice my vocabulary for the GRE. This is a great way to study when you only have a few minutes here and there during the day. I dont agree with all the definitions but so far I have enjoyed the app and hope it helps my score.

i was a vocabulary geek in school so i decided to get this app to continue building that. it is pretty hard, the further you go. but i dont think i can really learn anything unless its on paper, as soon as i close the app i forget everything. maybe thats just me.

I have used to to prepare for the GRE. No complaints! One suggestion though. It would be nice to be able to choose review all of the words you missed on on levels. To make sure you retained them. I have a fairly good vocabulary and might miss one or two words. It would be expedient to be able to review just those in a master missed list. Thank you!

I have really enjoyed the app for what it is, a free, easy to use app that helps me review 50 cent words. I would give this app 5 stars, but once in a while things are a little odd, an I get the feeling that its either a non English-speaking dictionary hound, or a computer generating the content. I get something like this: the sentence illustrating the usage of the word "retiring." Nelson was always the first to leave soirees—rather than mill about with “fashionable” folk, he was retiring, and preferred the solitude of his garret. According to the app, the best answer was "shy", which in my humble opinion was not the best. None of the answers struck me as correct, but I went for "surrender", as in surrendering to ones fatigue, which is more polite than saying "yall are boring! Im outta here!"
