Vocabulary Builder by Magoosh App Reviews

I saw this app in a Buzzfeed article and decided Id check it out and I was not disappointed! Its a great app to use as a way to expand your vocabulary or even as a study tool. I love the simplicity of the app and how there is repetition of a word so youre not just being quizzed on it once. The only drawback for me is that sometimes I feel like there could be two possible answers for the word...but that could just be me. All in all, its a great app thats easy to use anywhere!

Nice app to stay on top of your English vocabulary.

This is a great app for building your vocabulary! But the app needs a few adjustments and improvements, that Im sure lots of people would agree with me on. It would be nice to HEAR the word, (when studying a word) , because being an auditory learner myself, it would help me to learn the word if I could hear it (and how it is pronounced). Also as an encouragement to learn new vocabulary words everyday, (and learn them inside and out), a word a day, where you would receive a notification to learn "the word of the day" would be quite nice! Besides the few features that this app is lacking, the app is quite good! But if this app was upgraded with these new featured that I recommended and would love to see, I would definitely re-rate this app with a 5-star review !

I like this app. My only complaint is that even though it says there are hundreds of active players, the app makes me play against the same people over and over again.

I enjoy this app very much. My only complaint is that there is nothing to teach the correct pronunciation of a word. Building vocabulary is an admirable goal, but if you don’t learn how to say the words properly, it’s all for naught. If that feature was included, then this app would be 5 stars.

love this app! I like that it gives you ample opportunity to learn words you dont know. Would like to have the option to see the word used in more than one sentence.

This app gives single, approximate definitions instead of multiple clearly worded ones. It tried to tell me degrade means humiliate, which it can, but thats not its only meaning. Not impressed.

Great app, I feel like its really helping me prep well for the GRE.

I find that the app doesnt select a word as an answer when I tap it in vs. Or timed mode. I have to repeatedly tap the correct word in order for the app to pick up on it. Sometimes I get the answers wrong because the app does not register me tapping the correct word, even if I have done it 25 times in the few seconds you have to answer. Please fix
