What a great app! Im just on the basic words now and enjoy reviewing the words. The example sentences are very helpful. I have disagreed with a few of the "correct" definitions, but learn a new way of thinking about the word and move on.

This app is very well presented and enjoyable to use and is extremely helpful in strengthening vocabulary skills.

This has to be the best word game out there. I love how many words Ive been learning. Lots of fun.

I studied for GRE years ago using flash cards for vocabulary. I wanted review and Magoosh was way easier. The interface is quick and easy to use. By asking concise multiple choice question the app keeps track of any words missed so you can focus more on the material you dont know. Theres also a competitive match-making game you can play with friends or strangers but its less than fun. I wish there were more words and a wider scope than just GRE , SAT, and essential English. But its a great platform for vocabulary building!

I love the app. I love the fact that it uses the actual vocabulary word in a sentence. And I love that there is an option to hear how the word is pronounced. Thank you!

I havent taken the test yet and this app is nothing fancy but it seems to be doing the trick. I wish there were more advanced words categories but its kept me busy enough.

Some minor glitches here and there when using a mobile network, but for the most part its very helpful.

Im a traditionally published author and its fair to say words are a big part of my life. This app is spot on and I use it every day to work the brain. I would highly recommend this app for anyone looking to improve their vocabulary. I thought my vocabulary exceeds most and this app gives me challenges I dont always get the first time.

This is a lovely app with a clean UI and helpful example sentences. The choices for each word were well-thought-out to avoid common pitfalls. However, it would be extremely useful if the roots (Latin, Greek, etc.) and their meanings were briefly mentioned along with the sentences. This helps us to not only remember the word, but better predict the meaning of new words.

This app is a great fun way to slowly build your vocabulary everyday!

This app and really all of the Magoosh products have helped me immensely in my preparation for the GRE. I have had a limited amount of time to study and Magoosh has given me so much for confidence. LOVE.

Easy to use! Highly recommend!

I really like this app Ive been using it for just a few days and have already gone through a whole section. Ive found this app easier and faster to learn words compared to Magooshs other vocab app. The only problem Ive encountered so far is the sound option. Its really helpful that the app gives you a sound icon, which when tapped will pronounce the word. Unfortunately the icon doesnt work for the majority of words. I have the iPhone 6S so I dont have an older phone and have the latest update as of 7/18.

As a former English teacher, I have sought various methods to increase both my own and my students vocabulary. This app is one of the best. It is both instructive and enjoyable. Thank you for the opportunity your app affords us to compete with other users, also.
